In our efforts to alleviate traffic congestions at the Golden Triangle, Kuala Lumpur City Centre is proposing to make Jalan Imbi a one way traffic from the direction of Jalan Bukit Bintang (Bangunan LTAT) to Jalan Sultan Ismail and is expected to be fully implemented in early July 2007.

For stage two of the implementation, several changes in traffic flow directions will be implemented on Saturday 09 June 2007 beginning 1.00 am as follows:

i. Part of Jalan Imbi from junction of Jalan Imbi / Jalan
Walter Granier / Jalan Barat until Lorong Walter Granier
will be converted to a way traffic heading towards Jalan
Sultan Ismail.

ii. Vehicles from Jalan Sultan Ismail / Bukit Bintang will be
diverted to Jalan Walter Granier, Lorong Walter Granier
and for traffic heading towards Jalan Barat to Jalan
Kampung to Bukit Bintang and onwards to Jalan Tun
Razak.

iii. Vehicles from Jalan Walter Granier heading to Jalan Tun
Razak will proceed to Jalan Barat, to Jalan Kampung to
Jalan Bukit Bintang and finally to Jalan Tun Razak.

iv. Vehicles from Jalan Walter Granier will need to turn right
to Jalan Imbi and proceed to Jalan Jalan Pudu and
onwards to Sg Besi (Selatan).

v. Vehicles from Jalan Bukit Bintang (Bangunan LTAT)
do not have to turn to Jalan Barat to proceed to Jalan
Bukit Bintang or to Sg. Besi (Selatan).

vi. Vehicles from Jalan Imbi / Jalan Pudu to Jalan Bukit
Bintang will be diverted to Lorong Walter Granier to
Jalan Walter Granier, to Jalan Barat to Jalan Kampung
and finally to Jalan Bukit Bintang.
